Sport plays a central role in the physical and mental development of young people and in the maintenance of physical, mental and social health for all citizens; and, for those reasons, all levels of government, informed citizens, and health and social agencies are seeing sport in a new light. Sport’s importance is being recognized, and momentum is building in the use of sport to achieve broader goals. For the promotion of sports standards the department facilitates the students with training facilities in some major sports. Trained teams of ASCB have made remarkable achievements in district and state level competitions. Department provides sports equipment’s, kit, TA and DA to the players participating in the intercollegiate and Trashed provides of Inter University competition participate player. The department have Volleyball, Softball, Kabaddi, Kho-Kho, Fencing, Wrestling, Table soccer, Athletic, and Table Tennis teams at University, Inter collegiate and other State level competitions. All India Inter University and Inter Interactional competitions

- To provide adequate Physical Education facilities to enshrine Sound mind in sound body.
- The Department seeks to prepare young men and women in various forms of sports and games by giving coaching and training under constant supervision
- To expose students to competitive sports through competitions at different levels.
- To expose girls to sports activities and strengthening them physically and there by mentally in order to achieve the avowed objective of women- empowerment. In a college like ours where girls represent more than 70% of the student- Strength.
AIM AND OBJECTIVE
Imparting the college of sports and developing the skills of various games and achieving the excellence in the sports field are main aim of Gymkhana Department of the college keeping these aim the Gymkhana Department is -agencies to achieve following objectives.
- To improve the Knowledge, skill of various sports & games among the students.
- To encourage the students of the college to strengthen their mind physical & mental.
- To organize tournament & competition of various games at different levels.
- Enrolment of the student in tournament and competition of various games at different level.
- To develop healthy sportive culture and sportive nature among the student & the people.
ACTION-PLAN:
- Coaching on a regular and continuous basis.
- More intense training during the days leading up to important events.
- Supplying uniform to athletes.
- Taking them to competitive meets at district, university, State, national and International level.
- Giving incentives and encouragement to all those who represent the College at sport-meets at different levels irrespective of their winning prizes or not
- Extending first aid facilities to players.
- Felicitating the best outgoing athlete.
ORGANIZATION AND MANAGEMENT OF GYMKHANA ACTIVATES:
The organization of gymkhana department is very simple. It is single man department. The responsibility of running the department & sports activities lies on the shoulder of Director of Physical Education Dr.Galkwad Jyoti Motiram. She is running the Department of Physical Education. All meeting of the sports committee held under the guidance of the principal. In such meeting matters concerning sports activities are to be design and implemented
Our college is affiliated to the Dr.B.A.M University, Aurangabad for the purpose of sports activities all affiliated college of the University are divided in to four Zone Aurangabad Zone, Beed Zone, Jalana Zone, Osamanabad Zone. Our college Gymkhana lies under the Beed Zone.
Distribution of organizing sports activity at the college level will be divided in the meetings of the principal, Director of physical education of the concerning college of Beed Zonal Keeping in mind, the sports calendar of the West Zone tournament and the “University Tournament” The Beed Zonal Decides its calendar of sports Activities with the various sports accordingly the college level.
Department Established
The Department of Physical Education come into being with the College in the year 1990 so far, it has served generations of students. The Department functioned within the premises of a class room for many years. Dr.Graikroad Jyoti Motiram as a Director of Physical Education. I was joined here in this college on dated 30/07/2022 since inception the department functions with the prime objective of Creation of sports awareness among the students of Mahila Kala Mahavidyalaya as most of them held from the remote rural Regions of Beed District.
